Andrew recently did a complete upgrade of our front yard and it looks wonderful. We started with some vague ideas of what we wanted and Andrew was able to suggest a whole range of ideas to improve the final vision.

He worked around a couple of key trees in the front yard, and built the design around these. The brick garden edging looks fantastic and something that I have wanted to do for a while.  The quality of his work means it will last a lifetime.

 

His work is meticulous.  He pays attention to every detail; it is very evident that he takes great pride in his work. There are no shortcuts in the way he works. The materials are of an excellent quality, which can be seen in the final product.

 

Andrew is so easy to work with.  He kept us updated at every stage and worked to a timeframe.  There was never any guessing if he would turn up as I have experienced with other Tradesmen.

This is to state that after interviewing a considerable number of gardening contractors, discussing with the appropriate design for what is a small but complex area and analysing layouts, proposed materials and quotations, I awarded the tender for the project to A.S. Acorn Landscapes.

We recently completed a new home build in Melbourne's South East. We were left with the daunting task of landscaping. After several attempts to contact local contractors we came across Andrew from AS Acorn Landscapes.

Unlike other contractors, Andrew actually answered his phone, returned phone calls and turned up to appointments. His expert knowledge made him a dream to work with. He was able to understand our brief and without over complicating things set about getting the job done.

Andrew's quote was fair and reasonable and the quality of the work was exceptional. Completion of each stage was explained thoroughly. Almost 2 years after I had the 1980’s swimming pool filled in and lawn seeded by another company, I was unhappy with the result.  The lawn was uneven and full of weeds. I wanted a seamless, low maintenance garden.  I had a rough idea of what I wanted and consulted three landscaping companies.  Andrew from Acorn Landscapes came up with the most impressive design and after looking at his webpage I felt confident that he would do a good job.

 

From his initial concept and ongoing suggestions to enhance the area, I was impressed by Andrew’s vision for the backyard. From start to finish Andrew communicated updates regularly on the project.   From the paving to the choice of plants, rocks and watering system, I can’t fault any aspect, Andrew is one of those tradesmen who obviously takes great pride in his work and ensures everything thing he does is of the highest standard.

This is the third time we have used Andrew’s services.  The quality of his work is why we keep coming back to Andrew.

This time Andrew redesigned our back yard and included lots of paving.  His paving work is always first class.  It is accurate and looks fantastic.

He listened to our ideas and was able to build on them to create an integrated look across the back yard.

He even made suggestions regarding new products which he was able to incorporate into the plan.  This has really helped stop our dog from traipsing mud into the house.

We are so wrapped with the final outcome and love our new backyard.  We can’t wait for summer to roll around so that we can use the entertaining area he paved for us.

We were so delighted with Andrew’s suggestions to redesign our backyard that was badly needing a redo after 20+ years. We are so happy with the finished result that Andrew has given us and look forward to enjoying our time sitting out there in the warmer weather. With a new retaining wall and lovely plants, fresh tan bark, also new pavers laid down it’s so pleasing to see.

Andrew is very enthusiastic and dedicated about his work and is a pleasure to deal with, he is one of those people who goes that extra mile for you and is very meticulous about his work. There’s not many like him around these days.

Andrew is tidy and cleans up after himself everyday which you don’t find in many tradesmen. 

Before he leaves each day he would let us know what he’d be doing the next day which was really good.

We would highly recommend Andrew to anyone that needs a professional landscaper and his work speaks for itself.
